3 Days Jinja Adventure City tour gets you on the country side, the most touristic city in Uganda the pearl of Africa, the Safari gives you quick insights at Jinja touristic destinations including the Ssezibwa falls, Bujagali falls and the Source of River Nile in jinja

Day 1: Transfer from Kampala – Ssezibwa Falls – Source of the Nile

Early this morning after your breakfast, our safari guide will pick you up from your preferred accommodation at about 9:00am and you will be transferred to Jinja through Various Tea Estates and Sugar Plantations. Enroute you will have a stop at Ssezibwa falls, This is a Buganda Heritage site the beautiful and spiritual Ssezibwa Falls have long been a favorite of the kings of Buganda. Here the “black water” tumbles over the rock into the pool –while the local community restores tradition and culture in song and dance. The legend that the river was born of a woman attracts many locals who seek for blessings (in secluded places) from its waters. This will take you about 2 Hours, after this wonderful experience, we continue to Jinja Town for a Hearty lunch which is about 80kms from Kampala to Jinja.

Source of the Nile – Jinja Town, This Afternoon at about 3; 00pm, you will proceed to the source of the Nile “famously and popularly known as the rippon falls” where John Speke is reputed to have first documented the source of this great river, The Source of the Nile as the world’s longest river, the Nile River beginning its long journey of 4145 miles which is the life blood of both Sudan and Egypt to the Mediterranean Sea. . You will enjoy a boat on the fresh waters of the Source of the Nile that gets you to Speke’s monument across the Nile to the source of the Nile Gardens. After this wonderful experience, drive through Jinja Town known as one of the Oldest Towns in Uganda to enjoy sight seeing . Drive back to the Camp for your Dinner and overnight at Adrift Camp /Nile High Camp.

Day 2: Bujagali Falls

After your Morning breakfast either in Jinja Town / at the Campsite, you will proceed to the reknown Bujagali falls for sight seeing at about 10:00am. Located some 8kms out of Jinja town, this is a spectacular scenic spot with 1 km of raging rapids, forested islands in the Nile and an abundance of bird life. Bujagali has become East Africa’s adventure centre enticing visitors with river rafting, kayaking, bungy jumping and quad biking activities.

You will return to your Camp/Hotel for Lunch or Drive to Jinja Town where you can have your Lunch after which you will have an Afternoon to relax at the Camp as you watch the sunset, Or Go to Jinja Town for a Night Life in Town after your Delicious Dinner. Dinner and Overnight at Adrift / Nile High Camp.

Day 3: Mabira Forest – Transfer back to Vienna College

Have breakfast and Puck up your bags as you prepare for your return Journey back to your school. Enroute you will stop at the Mabira Tropical forest for a short Nature Walk. The MabiraForest is a rainforest area covering about 300 km² in Uganda, located in Mukono district between Kampala and Jinja. This 20km drive from Jinja is on the edge of Najjembe Village. A short drive down this murram Road will bring you to the Forest Center It has been protected asMabira Forest Reserve since 1932. At the Forest Center more about the rare and wonderful creatures that inhabit the forest, and the importance of the trees and plants can be learnt also find out what we can all do to help conserve our Forest Resources. The Forest Trails here in the forest provide an excellent trail system that allows visitors easy access to both undisturbed primary forest and good secondary forest. After this exciting Forest walk, then transfer back to Kampala/Hotel
